Simon Price has been awarded a Future Cities Prize Fellowship to present his ideas of what cities will be like at the first annual Future Cities conference in June 2016.
Project
Project title: Geological and geotechnical properties of glacial and periglacial sediments in the English South Midlands.
The project will investigate Quaternary processes and their effect on the geological and geotechnical properties of glacial and periglacial material. The project will investigate the spatial variability of these properties and their relationship to geological ground models in an area of the English South Midlands. The work is jointly supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Arup. The research is being undertaken whilst on a leave of absence and with the support of the British Geological Survey (BGS).
